The Professional Development Institute of Tourism is a registered Hotel School by the British Columbia Private Post-secondary Education Commission (PPSEC).  
The Professional Development Institute of Tourism Distance Learning and Home Study Courses are available to those individuals who are seeking entry into the tourism industry, as well as to employees and supervisory staff currently in the tourism and hospitality industry who are seeking skills upgrading, or advancement into supervisory or management positions.
