Dispute Resolution
Policy
In the event that there is a dispute between the Institute and the
student the institute will try to resolve the issues informally. If more approach becomes necessary, the following
steps set out in the Institute's Dispute Resolution Policy shall be used by the student
and the Institute to resolve the dispute:
1.
The designated staff member
shall request written submissions from all parties concerned with the dispute.
2.
The designated staff member
shall review submissions and conduct necessary investigations within one week.
3.
The designated staff member
shall provide a written decision, outlining the justification for all decisions, to all
parties involved in the dispute within 2 weeks of receipt of the written submission.
4.
If the student does not
agree with the written decision the complaint can be taken to the owner administrator who
will review all submissions and put forth a ruling within two weeks.
5.
If the student still feels
dissatisfied with the ruling, the matter will be turned over to an independent
arbitrator/mediator; the student will bear the cost of the mediation/arbitration.
Dismissal Policy
The
incidences listed below will result in student dismisssal:
1. Failure to submit required assignments in the prescribed
course duration.
2.
Cheating or plagiarism
3. Failure to meet financial obligations to the institute
