Dispute Resolution Policy

In the event that there is a dispute between the Institute and the student the institute will try to resolve the issues informally.  If more approach becomes necessary, the following steps set out in the Institute's Dispute Resolution Policy shall be used by the student and the Institute to resolve the dispute:

1.       The designated staff member shall request written submissions from all parties concerned with the dispute.

2.       The designated staff member shall review submissions and conduct necessary investigations within one week.

3.       The designated staff member shall provide a written decision, outlining the justification for all decisions, to all parties involved in the dispute within 2 weeks of receipt of the written submission.

4.       If the student does not agree with the written decision the complaint can be taken to the owner administrator who will review all submissions and put forth a ruling within two weeks.

5.       If the student still feels dissatisfied with the ruling, the matter will be turned over to an independent arbitrator/mediator; the student will bear the cost of the mediation/arbitration.
